Aerospring Hydroponics Unleashes the Inner Gourmet in Every Home Chef

A Chef's Review

I grew addicted to gardening as it is much easier to grow in a hydroponic system than in the soil and subsequently I got another 2 sets. You don't have to know how to do gardening to get a system that's how easy it is. I also enjoy listening to the water running. Now I can also use the fresh mint I grow for my business.

Garden year round even if you live in cold climates

I am growing strawberries in January!!! Amazing!! I am growing beans and dill to make dilly beans. I have fresh arugula daily for my ramen which loves to be cut so it can regrow. I am going to make pickles with my cucumbers, too. I just can’t believe how easy this is since it’s all automated from my phone.

I Want An Aerospring in Every Room!

I LOVE my Aerospring indoor garden system! I grow kale, lettuce, and herbs without sprays and without BUGS! I live in an area that is too hot to grow lettuce & kale outside so I’m extremely happy with my results. I have 2 types of kale at my fingertips. My lettuce is growing faster than I can eat it. The service at Aerospring is EXCELLENT. 100% recommend

Great concept

I bought two outdoor systems over 3 years ago and have been running them constantly since then. So amazing to go and pick your own food and have fun experimenting with different salads, vegetables and herbs. We eat salads once or twice a day and it's easily enough salad greens. Amazing to have fresh organic salads whenever we need them and not have to buy expensive salads from the store and have them wilt in your fridge! The team is also super helpful, clearly experts I what they do, and there is an amazing social network to help anything you need to know.

Great for a no fuss supply of fresh veg & herbs right at home

I've been using the outdoor Aerospring system in since 2021 - it's convenient to have fresh supplies of veg & herbs right at home. I have cared for and harvested various types of kales, lettuce, mints, spinach, basils (get the big bolloso napoletano basil, they're good!), jalapeno, tiny tim tomatoes, dill, stevia, rosemary, chards, mizuna, bok choys, celery leaf, spring onion, chives etc. I've recently purchased a second outdoor system. While the harvests from both systems are not sufficient to replace my family's consumption of vegetables, we do get constant supply of kale and lettuce for our salads and sandwiches. The aeroponic systems grow my edibles 2-3x faster than my soil-based plants.

Why should you start growing your own food?

  • Health & Nutrition
  • Food Security
  • Food Safety
  • Sustainability

Health & Nutrition

Produce loses valuable vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants due to factors like lengthy time to the supermarket, extended storage, and temperature fluctuations, impacting its nutritional content.

Nutrient loss in store-bought produce

  • Most produce loses 30% of nutrients 3 days after harvest
  • Vegetables can lose 15% to 55% of vitamin C within a week
  • Some produce tends to lose 90% of nutrition in the first 24 hours

Food Security

Rising food prices force consumers to make difficult choices, potentially compromising both their nutrition and overall budget.

Don't let inflation impact your food choices

The prices of healthy foods has increased by 12.8%, leading consumers to:

  • Prioritize Budget: Choosing cheaper options, potentially less nutritious food
  • Reduce Quantity: Buying smaller portions, impacting dietary intake
  • Sacrifice Quality: Opting for less fresh or more processed foods, compromising nutrients

Source: NCBI

Food Safety

The presence of pesticides in produce, while crucial for protecting crops, raises concerns about potential health risks and environmental damage.

Control what you consume

  • Harmful Pesticides: Pesticide residues found in 70% of produce sold in US even after washing
  • Health risks: Potential residue on produce might be harmful if consumed in large quantities
  • Environment Pollution: Pesticide use can harm beneficial insects and pollute land and water sources

Sustainability

By conserving water, reducing land use, and minimizing pesticide applications, hydroponics offers a way to grow food at home, sustainably.

Hydroponics is the Future of Sustainability

  • Water Efficiency: Hydroponics reduce water usage by up to 90% compared to conventional soil-based farming
  • Space Optimization: Vertical farming optimizes space utilization, resulting in the ability to achieve higher yield
  • Reducing Pesticides: Hydroponics, a soil-less environment, reduces the risk of soil-borne pests and diseases, minimizing the need for chemical pesticides
